Meet Carol

Hi I'm Carol

​

I love to sew. I live in Tauranga and have been in the sewing industry for over 40 years.

​

My career began when I left school. I started working in a local sewing factory, making women's wear. This is where I learned a lot of tricks of the trade and completed a 4 year apprenticeship.

​

I was fortunate to be trained by a French interior designer in Sydney, Australia. There I learned the skills required to create beautiful soft furnishings including curtains, blinds, cushions, upholstery and loose covers for lounge suites.

​

My happy place is my sewing studio but when I am not behind a sewing machine I like to spend time in my garden, go fishing and watch NRL Rugby League with my family.

"My passion is to help people to look their best in well designed, made to measure garments. I also love making clothing for my 5 grandchildren.
